FINISHING

FINISHING After the area is seeded it should be lightly raked and rolled again. When the grass is about 3 inches high it should be cut, with the blade of the machine set high so as not to take off too much. And the areas should be weeded from time to time, as the weeds appear. There are always bound to be a few of these and the sooner they are removed the better. If the weather is dry the lawn must be watered, but a fine spray left on for a long period is essential. A heavy spray washes out the grass roots, and a light sprinkling tends to draw the roots to the surface, where they dry out all the quicker. now it's seeding time!
